SUMMARY:

We're hiring a Junior Logistics Coordinator!

A position has become available for a Junior Logistics Coordinator with previous fruit/export experience in the Winelands.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Suitable Diploma / University degree - preferred
At least 2 years experience in an export/agriculture role
Understanding export procedures and systems
Proficient with DiPAR/Paltrack (preferred)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Stock system administration – daily intakes, dispatches, general stock control using DiPAR
Shipping Administration – Load entry on system, Booking confirmations, Q67, load filing etc.
Weekly bookings and confirmations of container volumes with shipping lines / C&F agents
Organise and co-ordinating of road transport
Generate Loading instructions to cold room/Packhouse/Ports
Follow up loadings with cold room /Packhouse/Ports
Complete and submit Shipping Instructions
Client Allocations using DiPAR
Generating & preparing of documentation for C&F Agents and Clients
Liaison with C&F agents
Sailing schedules update and distribution.
Follow up of stock and loading related queries
