JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Junior Account Bookkeeper to join their expanding team in Cape Town

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Specification
Reporting to Senior Financial Accountant

Capturing of Journals

Create and maintain the Creditors Database

Maintain the Fixed asset register and accruals

Run procedure (day end)

Assist with month-end

Reconciling of accounts due for month-end payments

Banking

Assisting with the Audit

Payment allocations

Administration

Manage the suspense account

Petty Cash management

Adhoc Creditors payments

Minimum Requirements

Matric qualification (a must)
Bookkeeping or other equivalent qualification relevant to the field
Experience in bookkeeping to Trial Balance
Computer literate - Excel, Pastel, and VIP
Strong understanding of accounts receivable and financial principles
Strong team player
Lateral thinking and problem-solving
Time management
Working independently and follow instructions without close supervision
Demonstrate ability to meet demands of internal and external stakeholders
Accuracy and attention to detail
Planning and Organising
Self-management
