JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT

R10 000 - R20 000 CTC depending on experience (Medical, Pension)
A growing agri-business based in Krugersdorp is seeking a qualified and motivated Junior Accountant to join their dynamic finance team
POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:
- Matric essential (Accounting)
- Tertiary studies in Accounting or Finance (relevant courses or certificates)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a junior accountant or accounting clerk
- Experience with Syspro (advantageous)
- Knowledge of agricultural business environments (advantageous)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
- Able to work independently with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of financial statements
- Reviewing and supervising subordinates’ work
- Budgeting and cash flow assistance
- Month-end closing procedures
- Preparation of monthly working paper files
- Handling queries from the Financial Manager
