POSITION INFO:
Our client is an engineering manufacturing powerhouse, proudly forming part of a multinational conglomerate, meaning big operations, strong systems and serious career-building potential. They’re looking for a detail-driven Junior Accountant to support the finance team by keeping records accurate, reconciliations clean and transactions flowing smoothly.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to strengthen their finance foundation in a structured, operational environment where accuracy matters and growth is built in.

Key Responsibilities:

Process financial transactions including invoices, payments and receipts
Reconcile bank statements and company ledgers regularly
Support accounts payable and receivable processes
Assist with financial reports and basic management reporting
Help prepare VAT, PAYE, UIF and statutory submissions
Maintain organised financial records and documentation
Support internal and external audit preparation
Assist with finance admin and day-to-day accounting support

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting / Finance
2+ years’ experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role
Advanced MS Excel skills
Xero experience essential
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organisational and administrative capability
Ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment
