POSITION INFO:
A well-established organisation within the hospitality and events industry is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the finance function, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with reporting processes, and ensuring the smooth execution of payroll administration. Key Responsibilities: Assist with monthly accounting processes and reconciliations Process journals and maintain the general ledger Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Assist with month-end and year-end reporting requirements Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts Process and assist with payroll administration Ensure accurate record keeping and compliance with company policies Assist with budgeting and financial reporting activities Support the finance team with ad hoc accounting duties Job Experience and Skills Required: BCom degree or NDip in Accounting, Finance, or related qualification 1-2 years' relevant accounting experience Payroll experience is essential Hospitality, hotel, or events industry experience advantageous Strong Microsoft Excel skills Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Eager to learn and grow within the finance field Apply now!
