JOB SUMMARY:
Role: Junior Accountant. Johannesburg Based position. Hybrid work from home and office.
International company offering fantastic work environment culture. BCom Hons degree of busy studying towards Hons in finance. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the trial balance and related schedules in the most efficient and timeous manner, and for assisting with the preparation of statutory, group and management reporting (on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis). As well as assisting with preparation of tax calculations and returns.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Role: Junior Accountant.
Requirements:
Minimum requirement: B(Com) Accounting degree with Hons or studying towards Honours degree
experience : Accounting Articles or working experience in finance - 2 - 3 years
Knowledge of IFRS and local statutory requirements is essential
Experience completing corporate tax returns will be beneficial
Experience with management accounting/ cost centre reporting will be beneficial
Skills:
Strong computer literacy (advanced Excel is essential)
Experience with ERP system will be beneficial
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills required
High attention to detail and accuracy
