Junior Accountant

Candidate with minimum 1 year bookkeeping/accounting function experience within an accounting firm/practice, required to start asap.

Minimum requirements:

• B.Comm degree or equivalent preferred
• Previous bookkeeping/accounting function experience required – minimum 1 year
• Knowledge of completing and submitting VAT returns required
• Pastel Sage Online, Pastel Payroll, QuickBook / Xero required
• Valid driver’s license and own transport preferred

Responsibilities:

• Full bookkeeping/accounting function for various clients
• Pastel processing
• Completing and submitting VAT returns
• Bank reconciliations
• Creditors and Debtors processing and reconciliations
• SARS e-filing and statutory requirements
