JOB SUMMARY:
Medical Equipment supplier based in Pretoria North, has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Accountant to join their team. Support the business with day-to-day accounting requirements as well as the preparation and submission of group reporting. The position will also support the Finance Team as well as provide some support to commercial aspects of the business.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Completed National Diploma in Accounting or B.Com (Accounting) / Finance, coupled with 3+ years commercial experience essential. Report to the FD. Be responsible for performing GL entries; prepare recons of B/S accounts on a monthly basis; monthly statutory submissions to SARS; ensure compliance with tax and accounting regulations; liaise with external Auditor as required; support the team with day-to-day finance queries; prepare monthly input into financial reports; prepare, update and maintain the upload file for group reporting; analyze monthly financial reports against budgets and forecasts; submit month-end reports within the set group deadlines; support the finance team with month-end activities; monitor and maintain data integrity within the system; perform month-end system program runs for closing activities; perform integrated systems' reconciliation (Qlikview vs Accpac); support the commercial team with sales and other related data request; weekly reporting on orders, sales and inventory; monthly reporting on orders, sales and inventory against targets and preparing reporting on management accounts to the business. Knowledge of inter-company transacting and processing. The role would be suited to candidates who reside in the North of Pretoria / Rosslyn / Wonderboom and Doringpoort areas. Strong Excel skills with large spreadsheet experience essential.
