JOB SUMMARY:
Head Office of a Multi-national manufacturing concern, based in Linbro Park has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Accountant to join their team. Report directly to the Chief Accountant and be responsible for financial accounting up to B/S level.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Successful incumbent will have a completed B.Com (Accounting) / similar, with 3 years experience. Completed Articles advantageous. KPI's include: manual journal vouchers - preparation and capturing; sub-ledger balancing - daily balancing of sub-ledger and investigation of discrepancies; sub-ledger reconciliations - to be prepared prior to month-end close; cashbook - backup to Cashbook Clerk; accruals - custodian of open PO listing and accruals; creditors payments / reconciliations - review and sign-off all payment proposals; review & maintenance of the AP Ledger and Age Analysis; maintain procedures within the AP process and maintain the company's healthy payment history; inter-company confirmation and balancing; liaison with internal and external auditors - assist and prepare for audits; custodian of B/S accounts - maintenance and reconciliation; month-end reporting - internal and Global and assistance to the Chief Accountant (GL Maintenance). Experience on SAGE X3 ideal.
