A leading engineering firm in process technologies is looking for an advanced, highly driven Junior Accountant to join their progressive team based in Midrand.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A leading engineering firm in process technologies is looking for an advanced, highly driven Junior Accountant to join their progressive team based in Midrand.

In this role you will be responsible for processing customer and supplier invoices, banking reconciliations, monthly report to be reviewed by the Financial Manager and compiling the quarterly reports.

The successful candidate will have strong reconciliations and full accounting function experience. The client seeks a highly energetic person, and someone who is willing to take on ad hoc tasks and go the extra mile to deliver results.

Education Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in finance or accounting

Job Experience and Skills Required:

2 to 3 years’ experience in a full function accounting role
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Strong Sage systems experience
Experience working with high volumes and high values
Strong reconciliation skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Deadline driven
