SUMMARY:
An established hospitality group in Hout Bay is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant / Bookkeeper to join their finance team. This role is perfect for a young finance professional looking to grow their career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Minimum Requirements:

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping
1–2 years’ experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and accounting systems (e.g., Pastel, Xero, Sage)
Solid Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail and time management
Hospitality or retail sector experience is advantageous

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Capture and reconcile daily financial transactions
Process supplier invoices and handle creditors
Assist with payroll preparation and monthly reports
Maintain up-to-date records for VAT, PAYE, and UIF submissions
Reconcile bank accounts and petty cash
Support senior accountant with month-end tasks and audit prep
