We are a multidisciplinary engineering firm specialising in the design and development of custom machinery and integrated mechanical systems. Our projects range from automated production equipment to specialised industrial machines, designed from concept through to manufacture and commissioning.

POSITION INFO:
ð Build Your Accounting Career in a Structured Environment

We are looking for a detail-oriented and capable Junior Accountant to join a stable and growing engineering business within an international group.
This role is suited to a candidate with solid foundational experience in accounting, who can confidently handle day-to-day financial processes and contribute to reporting and compliance.

ð§¾ What You’ll Be Doing

· Capture and process financial transactions (invoices, payments, receipts)
· Perform bank, supplier, and general ledger reconciliations
· Assist with monthly reporting, journals, and financial packs
· Support VAT, PAYE, and UIF submissions
· Ensure compliance with South African accounting standards and tax regulations
· Work on accounting systems (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or similar)
· Assist with audit preparation and financial controls

ð¯ Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

· Diploma or Degree in Accounting (BCom / Accounting Science or similar)
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Junior Accountant or similar role
· Working knowledge of SA accounting standards and tax (VAT, PAYE, UIF)
· Proficiency in accounting/financial systems (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or similar)
· Strong Excel skills
· High attention to detail and accuracy

ð¡ Advantageous

· Experience in a structured finance environment
· Exposure to audit processes
· Studying towards a professional qualification (SAIPA / SAICA)
