JOB DESCRIPTION:

IGrow Wealth Investments, South Africa's #1 Property Investment company, is looking for a Junior Accountant to join their team in Cape Town.

To qualify for this position, you need:

Matric Certificate
BCom Accounting degree or similar; or studying towards a BCom qualification.
2+ years of bookkeeping experience.
Ability to communicate effectively and have excellent relational skills.
Ability to perform calculations and prepare detailed reports.
Computer skills, including the ability to operate computerized accounting, spreadsheets and word-processing programs.
Valid driver's license and own vehicle available during working hours.
Knowledge on Xero and Caseware is beneficial.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Xero processing of all transactions
(bills / invoices / journals etc)
Assist with applicable income and
balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist with preparation of VAT returns
Assist with submission of bond
progress payment draw requests to all 4
major banks
Capture all payments on banking
profile (FNB)
Debtors and Creditors Control.
Assist with bank reconciliations
Assist with payroll
Assist with annual income tax and
provisional tax calculations and returns.
Preparing audit files for annual audits.
Assisting external auditors with the
annual audit.
General accounting admin.
Ensuring all source documents are
safely stored and kept.
