SUMMARY:
Junior Accountant Payroll - Cape Town CBD

POSITION INFO:

You will play an important role within the payroll and HR functions, and will specifically be tasked with
the following:

Tasks and responsibilities:
Costing of the RSA and Africa payroll for both monthly and flexi staff.
Capturing of bank and posting bank transactions for RSA and Africa.
Prepare Africa and RSA monthly journals.
Prepare balance sheet recons both RSA and Africa.
Preparation of PAYE Tax reports.
3rd party and Adhoc reports.

Skills and requirements:
Relevant qualification essential – we are looking for a Finance Degree e.g. B.Com
5 years + work experience.
Analytical ability.
High attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in teams.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to deliver a high standard of work under pressure.
Highly self-motivated and driven.
Strong systems knowledge essential.
Strong financial accounting skills.
Computer literate (MS Office Suite), excellent excel skills and preferably have knowledge of the Oracle EBS.
Must have a flair for figures.
