Junior Accounting Clerk, George - Western Cape

POSITION INFO:
Our client is currently seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accounting Clerk to join their team.
The primary focus of this role will be the accurate and efficient processing of multiple clients' books on a monthly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process multiple clients' books monthly up to Trial Balance.
• Utilize accounting software for cashbook entries, journal entries, etc.
• Handle VAT processing and submission of VAT Returns.
• Address client and SARS queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Calculate Income Tax and submit Income Tax Returns.
• Assist in the calculation and submission of Provisional Tax Returns.
• Assist in the drafting of Annual Financial Statements.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (completed or currently in progress).
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Strong understanding of VAT processing, Income Tax calculation and other related tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
