JOB SUMMARY:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities/Tasks:

Creditors

Receive all creditor invoices.
Check invoices against approved PRF.
Capture invoices on Pastel Partner Accounting System.
Ensure correct GL allocation of invoices.
Ensure that Supplier invoices are valid in order to claim Vat.
Reconcile Supplier Ledgers and Supplier Statements.
Liaise with Suppliers regarding any queries, payments or credit notes.
Liaise with Procurement Officers regarding any Creditor payment queries.
Prepare all creditor payments as per SOC Ltd policies and procedures, and supplier credit terms.

Customers

Receive all invoice instructions
Check invoice instructions against approved work orders.
Create customer invoices on Pastel Partner
Maintain work order register
Liaise with Project Managers regarding any queries

Other

Assist with audit queries
Perform ad-hoc duties as and when required

Requirements

Matric (preferably with Accounting as a subject)
Must be familiar with Pastel Partner
At least 3 years experience in a similar role
Knowledge and skills of MS Office
Have sound organizational and accuracy skills
Must be attentive to detail
Good communication skills
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
