A well-established insurance provider is seeking a Junior Actuarial Analyst to join their Pricing team based in the Northern suburbs of Cape Town. The successful candidate will support the development and enhancement of pricing models while assisting with data analysis, automation, and actuarial modelling initiatives.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Assist with data extraction, cleaning, and preparation using Python and SQL. Support the development, testing, and enhancement of pricing models, including Generalised Linear Models (GLMs). Perform exploratory data analysis and statistical investigations to support pricing initiatives. Assist with pricing reviews, performance monitoring, and reporting. Prepare clear, accurate, and structured outputs for senior actuarial team members. Contribute to automation initiatives and continuous process improvements within the pricing function. Job Experience and Skills Required: Degree in Actuarial Science. 1+ years of experience within the short-term insurance industry. Experience with pricing models (building and supporting). Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation and analysis. Apply now!
