About the Role

As a Junior BI Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining business intelligence models that support strategic and operational decision-making. You’ll work with large datasets from various business systems, transforming them into meaningful insights that drive performance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain BI models using data from multiple sources.
Collaborate on layout specifications and suggest improvements.
Adapt to evolving business requirements and specifications.
Perform model integrity checks and manage reloads/distribution.
Deliver monthly reports to management.
Handle ad hoc data queries and reporting needs.

Minimum Requirements

Relevant IT degree or diploma.
Experience as a BI Developer.
Strong SQL skills.
ETL tool experience (e.g., SSIS, ODI, DataStage, Informatica).
Financial services industry experience.
Understanding of Data Warehouse methodologies.

Advantageous Skills

Experience with BI tools: QlikView, Qlik Sense, Power BI, Python.
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
Agile/SCRUM methodology experience.
Familiarity with Talend, Snowflake.
Development experience in C#, Python, Java, or Angular.
