About the Role
As a Junior BI Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining business intelligence models that support strategic and operational decision-making. You’ll work with large datasets from various business systems, transforming them into meaningful insights that drive performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain BI models using data from multiple sources.
- Collaborate on layout specifications and suggest improvements.
- Adapt to evolving business requirements and specifications.
- Perform model integrity checks and manage reloads/distribution.
- Deliver monthly reports to management.
- Handle ad hoc data queries and reporting needs.
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant IT degree or diploma.
- Experience as a BI Developer.
- Strong SQL skills.
- ETL tool experience (e.g., SSIS, ODI, DataStage, Informatica).
- Financial services industry experience.
- Understanding of Data Warehouse methodologies.
Advantageous Skills
- Experience with BI tools: QlikView, Qlik Sense, Power BI, Python.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Agile/SCRUM methodology experience.
- Familiarity with Talend, Snowflake.
- Development experience in C#, Python, Java, or Angular.
