About the Role

As a Junior BI Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining business intelligence models that support strategic and operational decision-making. You’ll work with large datasets from various business systems, transforming them into meaningful insights that drive performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BI models using data from multiple sources.
• Collaborate on layout specifications and suggest improvements.
• Adapt to evolving business requirements and specifications.
• Perform model integrity checks and manage reloads/distribution.
• Deliver monthly reports to management.
• Handle ad hoc data queries and reporting needs.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant IT degree or diploma.
• Experience as a BI Developer.
• Strong SQL skills.
• ETL tool experience (e.g., SSIS, ODI, DataStage, Informatica).
• Financial services industry experience.
• Understanding of Data Warehouse methodologies.

Advantageous Skills

• Experience with BI tools: QlikView, Qlik Sense, Power BI, Python.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Agile/SCRUM methodology experience.
• Familiarity with Talend, Snowflake.
• Development experience in C#, Python, Java, or Angular.
