Our client, based in Markman, Gqeberha, has an opportunity available for a Junior Bookkeeper to join their Finance Team. Ideal candidate to start immediately.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Processing of Multiple Company Bank Statements (Daily, Bi-Weekly)
Processing of Petrol & Credit Card Statements
Processing of Expense Card Slips & Allocating Payments and following up outstanding slips
Processing of the FNB Fleet Statements
Bank Reconciliations
Invoice Customers for Cash Deposit Fees
Updating Cash Flow Reports Monthly
Ensuring all debit orders processed and allocated correctly
Intercompany allocations
VAT Returns for multiple companies
Petty Cash processing and reconciliation
Loading and capturing cash and supplier payments
Allocation of customer refunds
Month End Reports
Stats SA
Intercompany transfers
Loading recipients onto to banking profiles
Speedpoint machine reconciliations

Requirements:

Matric
Minimum of 1 to 3 years experience
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Knowledge of bookkeeping practices
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures
MS Office
