SUMMARY:
Junior Bookkeeper – Pietermaritzburg
Our client is seeking a Junior Bookkeeper with experience in legal trust bookkeeping and related trust account processes.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping to trial balance
Legal trust bookkeeping in line with compliance requirements
Online banking payments (Nedbank and FNB)
Processing Section 86(4) investments on Nedbank
Bank, trust account and ledger reconciliations
Assist with month-end tasks and maintain accurate financial records

Requirements:

1–2 years’ bookkeeping experience (Trust accounting experience essential)
Knowledge of legal trust bookkeeping and Section 86(4) investments
Experience with Nedbank and FNB online banking
Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Relevant bookkeeping/finance certificate or qualification (Advantageous)
Relevant tertiary qualification (Certificate/Diploma)
Proficiency with relevant accounting software
Exceptional attention to detail and high integrity
