Junior Business Analyst

POSITION INFO:

Collaborate with our business development team as a client liaison, ensuring effective communication and relationship management
Provide exceptional user interface level support to customers, utilizing your SQL skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Assist customers with operational tasks, leveraging SQL-based solutions to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
Analyze customer requirements and provide insights and suggestions for improvements, optimizing the use of prepayment software
Conduct SQL training sessions for customers, empowering them to maximize the potential of our system
Assist in the creation of technical and user-guide documentation, using your SQL knowledge to deliver clear and concise materials
Manage and resolve operational and reporting issues using SQL queries, ensuring timely closure
Utilize SQL-based reports to document customer requirements and effectively communicate them to the operations or development team
Conduct proactive system monitoring using SQL monitoring tools, ensuring smooth operation of portals
Collaborate on the project management of new customer system deployments, applying your SQL skills to support successful implementations
Support User Acceptance Testing, including SQL-driven User Interface testing, training, and providing support for software packages or solutions

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
A diploma, certificate, or degree in Business Analysis, Computer Science, or a related field would be beneficial
Previous experience in a client liaison position or business analysis role is a plus
Familiarity with SQL and its applications, either through coursework or practical experience
Knowledge of the utility services, prepayment, or smart metering environment would be considered advantageous
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Afrikaans
Strong multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively
Support the business development and sales team by providing valuable insights through SQL analysis
Possess a clean driver's license and reliable transportation
