Junior CAD Technician – Civil and Structural Engineering

POSITION INFO:
A multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Junior CAD Technician to support the design and documentation of diverse, often non-standard civil and structural engineering projects. The successful candidate will produce accurate technical drawings and three-dimensional models in accordance with established engineering standards, project requirements and drawing procedures. Minimum Qualifications Senior Certificate (Matric). Relevant NQF Level 5-6 qualification in CAD, draughting or a related discipline. Experience and Technical Requirements Zero to four years' relevant experience in civil or structural engineering. Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D. Revit experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Understanding of technical drawings and engineering documentation. Ability to interpret engineering information and translate it into accurate drawings and models.
