Junior Civil Engineer

Our client, a well-established mining company, is seeking a Junior Civil Engineer to join their team. POSITION INFO:
The Role: As a Junior Civil Engineer , you will assist in the planning, design, and construction of civil infrastructure within the mining operations. You will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to ensure that all structures are designed and built to meet industry standards, safety regulations, and operational needs. This is a great opportunity for an early-career engineer to develop expertise in a challenging and rewarding industry. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the design and execution of civil engineering projects, including earthworks, roads, and site drainage systems. Support the preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documentation. Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with project plans and safety standards. Provide technical support for the construction and maintenance of mining infrastructure. Collaborate with senior engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met. Participate in surveying, materials testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions. Prepare reports and documentation related to project progress, quality control, and safety. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Basic knowledge of civil engineering principles, including structural design, earthworks, and drainage. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and other engineering tools. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced work environment. Willingness to work on-site in remote mining locations, if required.
