SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity has become available with our client, a respected player in the construction and civil engineering space. They are looking for a Junior Civil Engineer to join their team based in Blackheath, Cape Town.
This role is perfect for someone with 1–3 years of experience, eager to grow their career in a hands-on, site-based environment.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with daily site operations and project coordination
Support senior engineers with project planning and execution
Monitor progress on-site and ensure compliance with design specs
Conduct site inspections and quality control checks
Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
Prepare reports, documentation, and project updates

Minimum Requirements:

1–3 years of experience in a civil engineering or construction role
Previous site-based experience in a construction environment is essential
Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering (BTech, BSc, or NDip)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Proficient in MS Office and relevant engineering software.
