SUMMARY:
Company based in Heidelberg Gauteng is looking for a Junior Design Draughtsman to join their team!

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Must have a formal draughting qualification.
Must be proficient in SolidWorks 3-5 yrs. experience – other packages will be a benefit.
Must be able to do advanced assembly design for 500 parts or more.
FEA and Simulation will be an advantage.
Sheet metal design is a must.
Must be able to optimize designs within SolidWorks.
Must be able to generate a bill of materials within SolidWorks.
Must be able to generate 2D drawings for GA, fabrication and manufacturing in SolidWorks.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Project experience will be beneficial – must be able to do it from start to finish
Microsoft office experience:

Excel.
Word.
PowerPoint.
MS Project.

General duties:

Liaise with customers.
Drawing revisions and design reviews.
Development.
