SUMMARY:
Our client, based in Centurion, is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join their growing team. This is a full-time, in-office position, perfect for someone with 1–2 years of DevOps and cloud infrastructure experience who’s eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced, tech-forward environment. You’ll work closely with both development and operations teams to streamline deployments, enhance automation, and support modern cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on Azure, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with managing and maintaining Azure-based cloud infrastructure
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes clusters using Helm Charts
Support containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure and application performance
Collaborate with Developers to improve deployment automation and ensure reliability
Assist with implementing cloud security best practices and compliance measures
Document infrastructure architecture, processes, and DevOps best practices

Skills & Qualifications:

1–2 years of experience in a DevOps or cloud engineering role
Hands-on experience with Azure and Azure DevOps
Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm Charts
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
Scripting experience with Bash, Python, or PowerShell
Exposure to Git and Infrastructure as Code tools, like Terraform or Bicep, is a plus
Basic understanding of cloud networking, security, and system administration
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning
