Junior Engineer

SUMMARY:
A renowned company specialising in heat exchange solutions is seeking a talented Engineer to join their team in Westmead.

The role will be involved in various aspects of the engineering process, from design and drawing to overseeing the manufacturing of heat exchangers.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with design engineering team to design innovative and efficient heat exchangers tailored to client needs.
• Draft detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
• Support the sales team by contributing to commercial proposals, tenders, and RFQs.
• Liaise with the operations team to ensure seamless manufacturing and assembly of heat exchangers.
• Contribute to R&D initiatives focused on new technologies, products, and process improvements.
• Take part in continuous improvement efforts to enhance product performance and internal efficiencies.

• Bachelor of Science (BSc Eng)/ Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical/Process Engineering, with a strong focus on thermal engineering subjects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for design and drafting.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal, to explain technical concepts and collaborate across departments.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with a meticulous attention to detail.
• A proactive, ambitious mindset with a genuine interest in growing within the field of heat exchange technology.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of a programming language will also be beneficial.
