SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity for a Junior Finance Administrator exists in a Joburg-based IT company. If you are passionate about Finance and you're looking for a new challenge, then this position is for you!

POSITION INFO:
Bookkeeping and Accounts Function

Record financial transactions
Produce invoices
Maintain and balance subsidiaries and general ledgers
Complete corresponding tax entries/payments
Assist Finance with the creditors recon monthly
Handle the debtors monthly by calling customers for any outstanding money
Collect and collate the expense claims and slips associated with this
Manage all bill payments and customer invoicing as per the deadlines.
Assist in setting and managing budgets.
Reconcile monthly general ledger balance, invoices and credit card statements
Ensure maintenance of the general and subsidiary ledgers.
Prepare tax documents for timely filing of company tax.
Prepare and adjust finance journal entries as required.
Assist in managing account payable and receivable activities.

Finance Administration and Reporting

Maintain all financial records and files as per the company policies.
Ensure all information is captured on the financial systems accurately
Gather all information for the reporting required monthly
Handle all information for legislation submissions as required
Prepare finance reports and account reconciliation reports according to company policies on periodic basis.
Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies and other financial related issues.
Streamline processes and procedures for improving operational efficiency of finance
reporting and budgeting systems.
Coordinate with finance and HR teams in preparation of financial reports and statements.
Support the annual financial audit processes through the preparation of standard reports as well as other custom reports as requested
