POSITION INFO:
A leader in the automotive industry is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:

Bank Processing & Treasury:
- Load and process payments accurately and on time
- Maintain and reconcile cashbooks
- Prepare the daily cash flow and process bank interest
- Load foreign payments and handle treasury tasks
- Liaise with banks and manage user access (Standard Bank & FNB)
- Manage funding, sweeping, refunds, and creditor setups
Fuel Account Management:
- Apply for and cancel fuel cards
- Obtain and process fuel statements
Creditors Management:
- Prepare creditor reconciliations
- Load and allocate payments
- Maintain a clean creditors ageing analysis
Invoicing & Debtors:
- Invoice divisions/subsidiaries and manage suspense accounts
- Allocate received payments and follow up on outstanding invoices
- Maintain debtor ageing analysis
Asset Capitalisation:
- Capitalise assets per applicable standards
- Clear asset suspense accounts promptly
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist with preparing budgets and forecasts

Qualifications:

Completed BCom in Finance

Skills:

1 - 2 years in a similar role
Attention to detail
Strong Excel skills
