JUNIOR HOTEL-SPA THERAPIST (all-rounder Skin & Body confident)

WILDERNESS - GARDEN ROUTE, Western Cape (ZA)

START: A.S.A.P / 01 August 2025

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS

• Monday – Sunday (including public holidays)
• 09:00 - 18:00
• Rotate open & close + days off

REPORT TO: Spa Manager

REMUNERATION & COMPANY BENEFITS:

• R7,500 - R10,000 Basic Salary per month (based on highest qualification / industry experience)
• Commission (Treatment & Retail) 4% - 14% sliding scale
• Medical Aid Contribution (Discovery)
• Provident Fund Contribution (5%)
• Staff meal - when on duty
• Company transport (various pick-up locations around George)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. South African citizen OR valid working permit for employment in SA
2. Matric 
3. CIDESCO Diploma / ITEC Diploma
4. Diploma obtained from an accredited training provider
5. Fit and healthy to perform therapies back to back

EXPERIENCE:

1. Previous spa experience ( hotel spa / cruise ship or high-end day spa) 
2. At least 2+ years Spa Therapy employment experience (after graduation)

1. Skills & Knowledge:
   • Strong understanding of massage, facials, waxing, and body treatments
   • Product knowledge of luxury skincare brands 
   • Confident in recommending and upselling treatments and retail products
   • Excellent grooming and personal presentation
   • Passion for wellness and delivering outstanding guest experiences
2. Additional Competencies:
   • Punctual, reliable, and a team player
   • Willingness to learn and grow within the spa environment
   • Good communication skills
