Successful Network of Restaurants and Taverns in Cape Town requires a Junior IT Technician to join their team.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Technician, located in Cape Town. The Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and technical support.
Knowledge and Experience
- Understanding of pos system
- Add and register users and waiters
- Reporting management
- Setup and manage pos database requests
- Configure network and serial printers
- Stock control and troubleshooting
- Add recipes and costing provided by stores
- POS day to day support
- Microsoft operating systems from Windows 11 up until Windows Server 2022 but not limited
- Ability to build, maintain and repair computers, laptops and servers
- Strong fundamentals of networking and understanding of WLAN, VOIP, WAN, POS and LAN environments but not limited.
Qualifications and Attributes- Punctual and Presentable
- Strong work ethic and quick leaner
- Ability to work under pressure and motivated
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in IT
- NB. Must have a valid driver’s license
- PILOT knowledge would be an advantage
- Training can be provide of some system
