They are looking for a tech-savvy and customer-driven Junior Representative to join our team in Midrand.

POSITION INFO:
Junior Internal Sales Representative Location: Midrand, Gauteng Salary: R12,000 - R15,000 per month (depending on experience) About Our Client The client is a leading supplier of premium commercial and industrial HVAC equipment (air conditioning, chillers, heat pumps, and air-handling systems) in Southern Africa. They pride themselves on providing high-quality solutions, backed by expert technical advice and outstanding service. Job Purpose They are looking for a tech-savvy and customer-driven Junior Representative to join our team in Midrand. You will be the face of our parts counter, assisting clients, contractors, and technicians with selecting, identifying, and purchasing the right replacement parts and components for HVAC and cooling equipment. Key Responsibilities Parts Counter Management: Assist walk-in and phone-in customers with part inquiries, orders, and technical advice. Technical Product Matching: Read basic mechanical and electrical diagrams to cross-reference and source correct replacement parts. Order Processing: Generate quotes, process invoices, handle payments, and issue parts accurately on the system. Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels at the counter, receive orders, and assist with stocktaking. Customer Relationship Management: Build strong, long-term relationships with HVAC contractors and technical clients. Requirements & Skills Mechanical Background: Strong mechanical knowledge\/aptitude is essential to understand the HVAC industry and industrial equipment. Electrical Experience: Basic to intermediate electrical understanding (wiring, controls, actuators, motors) will be highly advantageous. Sales Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in counter sales or technical parts sales (HVAC, plumbing, industrial, or automotive preferred). Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and basic computer\/POS literacy. Education: Matric\/Grade 12; a technical diploma or trade qualification is a bonus.
