We are looking for a Junior Java Developer to join a dynamic and innovative team of Test Data Management and assist with the continuous development of Test Data Portal/System, maintenance of the System and

servicing of Data Requests.

Test Data Management is a dynamic and innovative team that plays a crucial role within Everyday Banking. Our primary responsibility is to create and manage test data for all of the banks SIT and UAT projects, ensuring that the test executions run smoothly and efficiently. The team is comprised of talented and dedicated individuals and committed to delivering high-quality results while keeping up with the fast-paced and ever-evolving demands of new data set.

Continuous Development of Test Data Portal/System.
Maintenance of the System.
Servicing Data Requests.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

Knowledge in the full SDLC life cycle.
Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
Database design experience.
Understanding of analyses and complex issues and problems and coming up with sound and rational decisions.
Experienced in working with front-end technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS,
PostgreSQL and other database experience.
Experienced in CI/CD tools like, Jenkins, Bamboo and Bitbucket Pipelines.
Proficient experience in source control tools.
Experienced in containerization (Docker).
Experienced in tools like cloud technologies.
Quickly produce well-organized, optimized, and documented source code.
Debug existing source code and polish feature sets.
Ability to solve unique technical problems.
Work independently when required.

Background and experience required:

2+ Years hands-on experience in software development.
Solid understanding of messaging protocol like SOAP and REST.

Must-have Skills (Mandatory Skills):

Good development knowledge of Frontend, Backend, APIs and Database.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Able to establish a collaborative relationship with Products teams.
Good work ethic.
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE CODING & WILL BE ASSESSED.

Beneficial Skills (Desired Skills):

Frontend, Backend, APIs, and Database development experience.
The individual must have a strong desire for self-learning.
