SUMMARY:
A well-established law firm based in Durbanville is seeking a Junior Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior attorney who is eager to take on responsibility, work independently, and grow within a professional and collaborative environment. We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for litigation, who is committed to building a long-term career in this field, and who can establish and maintain a strong, valued role within the firm.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa
1–2 years post-admission experience in general practice and litigation
Strong drafting, research, and communication skills
Ability to manage files independently and meet deadlines
A proactive, detail-oriented, and professional approach
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and other legal professionals.
Exceptional legal research skills.
Proficiency in legal software programs.
Driven, career-focused, and able to work independently.
Ambitious, meticulous, and dedicated to excellence.
Proficient in both Afrikaans and English is a must
Must have own car and a valid driver’s licenses

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of an established client base independently.
Liaise with clients and stakeholders to maintain relationships and bring in new work.
Develop and grow business opportunities by expanding relationships with clients and stakeholders.
