Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a junior fleet control and logistics support role. This position is ideal for a young professional with some practical experience in fleet management, logistics, and data capturing, who is eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day fleet operations, logistics coordination, and accurate data capturing to ensure smooth workflow and effective support to the operations team.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with fleet control including vehicle tracking, trip monitoring, and reporting.
Support logistics planning and scheduling to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
Perform data capturing and administrative tasks, maintaining accuracy across systems.
Monitor and update driver schedules, routes, and fleet documentation.
Assist with compliance checks on vehicles, licenses, and safety requirements.
Generate daily and weekly operational reports.
Provide general administrative support to the logistics and fleet department.
Liaise with drivers, operations staff, and clients to resolve queries efficiently.

Requirements

Matric / Grade 12 (essential).
Additional studies in Logistics, Transport Management, or Supply Chain (advantageous).
1–2 years’ experience in logistics, fleet administration, and data capturing.
Strong computer literacy (MS Excel, Word, Outlook; fleet/logistics systems advantageous).
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data capturing.
Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.

Contract Details

Contract Start Date: November 2025
Contract Type: Fixed-term (with possible extension).
Working Hours: Full-time (Monday – Friday, occasional Saturdays if required). Shift work is applicable
Remuneration: Market-related, based on experience.
