Junior Manager – All-Day Coffee Shop (Halaal-Certified)
Location: Southern Suburbs, Cape Town

Our vibrant and busy all-day coffee shop in the southern suburbs of Cape Town is looking for a passionate and reliable Junior Manager to join our team. As a Halaal-certified establishment, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere and delivering consistently excellent service to our diverse customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the daily operations of the store, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Assist in leading and motivating front-of-house and kitchen teams.
• Maintain high service standards and a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Help manage stock levels and monitor quality control.
• Ensure compliance with Halaal standards, hygiene, and safety regulations.
• Support the coordination between kitchen and service teams to deliver a great customer experience.
• Assist in handling minor maintenance or operational issues as they arise.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

1. Consistent delivery of excellent guest service.
2. Smooth coordination between team members during service.
3. Adherence to Halaal and health and safety standards.
4. Positive staff morale and cooperation.
5. Prompt attention to operational issues.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in a supervisory or shift-leading role in a busy hospitality environment.
• Familiarity with Halaal requirements (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A hands-on, team-oriented approach with a passion for service.
• Good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
