Junior Mechanical Draughtsman

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Matric (Grade 12)
National Diploma or Certificate in Engineering Draughting or related field (NQF Level 5 or 6)
Minimum of 2-3 years practical experience in a drafting role within a manufacturing industry
Understanding of technical drawing standards and engineering principles
Proficiency in AutoDesk Inventor, CAD software such as AutoCAD
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
Must have a valid drivers license
MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Must be able to work additional hours if necessary
Strong knowledge of loadcells, silos and hoppers and batch plants processes
Registration or busy with ECSA (Engineering Draughting / Technician) or similar institution
Experience and or extensive knowledge in the batching industry
Knowledge of 2D and 3D modelling, structural design and mechanical component drafting
