JOB SUMMARY:
Our Client based in Epping Industrial requires the services of a Junior Millwright who has a minimum 2 to 3 years experience in the role. The person will be required to do the following tasks.

â¢ Assist the Millwright Manager in the Maintenance
â¢ Work in a team and ensuring the complete functioning of all
machinery in the field
â¢ Ensure suppliers compliances to high standard of parts needed
â¢ Get necessary quotes for all spare part of machines
â¢ Maintain and test all equipment / machinery to ensure functionality, safety and availability to complete work within the specified timeframe and budgetary limits.
â¢ Ensure that components causing excessive downtime are identified and permanent solutions are found and implemented
â¢ Perform Condition Based Maintenance on equipment
â¢ Inform the superior of any additional defects as well as spare parts and time needed to complete the work
â¢ Ensure that all equipment is maintained through utilizing the right tools, Work Instruments and within safety regulations.
â¢ Be responsible for ensuring equipment/machinery is tested for functionality and safety before being returned to production
â¢ Assemble of parts as per drawings
â¢ Assembling of machines
â¢ Testing all relevant machine parts before final assembling are available
â¢ Other duties as per reasonable requests

JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS
â¢ Matric/Grade 12
â¢ Be able to work standby, shift and overtime if and/or when required
â¢ 2-3 years in Junior Millwright position
â¢ Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
â¢ Have a valid Code 08 license
â¢ Own transport
