A leading Product Design & Development company in KZN is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join their Refrigeration & HVAC team.

POSITION INFO:

ð Role Purpose:

Design, develop, and optimize refrigeration and HVAC systems and components to meet performance, cost, and quality targets.

ð Requirements:

BSc/BTech/BEng in Mechanical Engineering
0–3 years in product design & development
Knowledge or experience in refrigeration and/or HVAC systems
CAD/SolidWorks (advantage)
Understanding of DFM & lean manufacturing principles
Strong computer literacy and communication skills

âï¸ Key Responsibilities:

Support full product development lifecycle from concept to manufacturing
Optimize product cost, performance, and quality
Conduct FMEA, product testing, and regulatory compliance
Manage engineering changes and documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers
