Junior Project Manager

Designer of modular and custom structures of lightweight building systems seeks to appoint a Junior Project Manager at their premises in Cape Town.

You will be involved from project kick-off to close-off and assist Senior Project Managers with compiling and recording accurate project info highlighting areas of concern.

For the position you would be required to have:

• Degree in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying
• Around 5 years' project management experience in contract administration
• MS Office and MS Projects

Responsibilities would include you to:

• Contract management: track and reconcile all charges, compile and submit monthly progress claims
• Work closely with Supply Chain Manager and fabricators to ensure manufacturing lead times are met and goods are shipped efficiently
• Maintain overall budget versus actual and implement and manage site cost and payment controls
• Assist with quality management (QA/QC) across fabrication, procurement, logistics, assembly and installation
• Project completion and record keeping
• Provide final project report and reconciliation
