Mechanical engineer with designs skills looking for a role in Project Management is required at this International company. Design for Manufacturing field. The engineer we require will work as a Project Manager to ensure designs targets are met. Skills required in design review and project tracking. Ability to work with various stakeholders and engineering design teams.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Junior Engineering Project Manager : Mechanical Design

Cape Town

Our client is looking for an Engineer who wants to work in an environment where project Management consist of managing design teams and ensure continues improvement on designs.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills Needed:

B. Eng. or B.Tech. in Mechanical, Mechatronic or Electronic Engineering
Minimum 4 years design experience
Understanding of design process
Solid organizational skills
Continuous improvement mindset

Key Responsibilities:

Create project plans, including detail statements of work, cost estimations and work break down structures
Project management reports
Schedule and hosting of internal and external design reviews
Manage projects across design departments
Interface with Engineering Management teams in prioritizing the utilization of team resources
