SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Junior SHEQ Officer to assist with maintaining health, safety, environmental and quality systems within a Food manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with ISO 45001:2018

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with ISO 45001:2018 implementation and ongoing compliance
Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and inductions
Support accident/incident reporting, investigations, and audits
Coordinate legal training, medical surveillance, and SHE Committee meetings
Issue PPE and maintain SHE records
Support factory Quality Control (QC) activities, GMP and hygiene inspections
Monitor in-process food production and food safety compliance
Assist with product development

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Minimum Matric
3-year tertiary qualification in Safety Management or similar
ISO 45001:2018 certification (advantageous)
First Aid certification (advantageous)
At least 1 year experience in a food manufacturing environment (added advantage)
