Junior Sales Consultant

POSITION INFO:

The Junior Sales Consultant will support business growth by generating new leads, booking meetings, and assisting senior consultants with client acquisition. This role is ideal for someone eager to build a career in sales and business development, with clear exposure to the recruitment industry.

Responsibilities

Sales & Lead Generation

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities through cold calling, emails, LinkedIn, and referrals.
• Book meetings and introductory calls for senior consultants or sales managers.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.

Client Support

• Assist in preparing proposals, quotes, and client presentations.
• Maintain accurate client and sales activity records on the CRM system.
• Support follow ups with prospective and existing clients.

Market & Industry Awareness

• Research target companies, industries, and decision makers.
• Stay informed on recruitment trends and client hiring needs.
• Provide basic market feedback to senior team members.

Performance & Reporting

• Work towards daily, weekly, and monthly activity targets.
• Track calls, emails, meetings, and outcomes accurately.
• Participate in sales reviews, coaching, and training sessions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Matric / Grade 12 (required).
• Tertiary qualification in Sales, Business, Marketing, or related field
• 2 – 3 years sales experience.
• Exposure to B2B sales or recruitment is an advantage
