POSITION INFO:

About the Role

As the Junior Sales Developer, you will be responsible for identifying new corporate prospects, conducting high-volume outbound calls, and setting up meetings for the Corporate Business Consultants across multiple regions.
You will act as a key support function to the Corporate Team, helping expand market reach and strengthen client acquisition efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and research corporate companies with potential foreign exchange requirements
• Make high-volume cold calls daily to senior decision-makers (CFOs, Treasurers, Finance Directors, etc.)
• Present the value proposition of FX intermediary services to secure meetings for the Corporate Consultants
• Meet and exceed monthly KPI targets for calls, meetings set, and conversions
• Maintain accurate records of lead generation activity and pipeline progress
• Provide regular updates to management on sales performance and lead quality

Skills & Requirements

• 2–3 years’ experience in B2B cold calling or outbound sales (financial or FX industry advantageous)
• Strong cold-calling and prospecting ability with a proven track record
• Basic knowledge of foreign exchange, international payments, or financial services beneficial
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven
• Strong research and lead identification skills
• Comfortable working with CRM systems and digital sales tools

Qualifications

• Matric (required)
• Relevant business or sales qualification beneficial
• FAIS-compliant qualification or willingness to work toward FAIS compliance

Experience Advantageous

• Previous financial services or FX sales experience
• Exposure to corporate FX environments
• Entrepreneurial sales experience
