POSITION INFO:
A leader in industrial gears and power transmission is looking for a Junior Sales Engineer to join their Cape Town team. This is the perfect opportunity for a mechanically minded, ambitious individual who wants to break into technical sales in a niche industry. With strong mentorship and a lucrative commission structure, this is your chance to grow into a sales hunter role in the gear industry.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

Mechanical or technical qualification (Diploma/Degree or trade)
Strong interest in sales and business development
Valid driver’s license and own transport
Residing in Cape Town or surrounds

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Exposure to gears, gearboxes, or mechanical components (advantageous)
Hunger to learn and succeed in a sales-driven environment
Ability to cold call, identify leads, and build relationships with clients
Support senior sales people with client visits, quoting, and proposals
Develop into a fully independent sales hunter in the industrial gear sector
