  We are looking for a Junior Shipping Clerk for our client in Bedfordview Johannesburg- East.

   

  • Own transport essential
  • Will be office based
  • Must be available immediately

   

  Skills and Experience:
  • 5 years air and sea freight shipping experience
  • 5 years Imports and exports experience
  • Pastel Evolution / Sage 200 experience (advantageous)
  • Microsoft skills
  • Systems orientated
  • Excellent admin skills
  • Must be able to work out calculations
  • Attention to detail 
  • Create all new orders on evolution and word and send to suppliers
  • Tracking all orders until delivery â?? Solving en-route issues
  • Updating the shipping schedule every week for the team
  • Getting estimates for couriers freight forwarders
  • Assist with courier collections and deliveries
  • Handle all Imports both Sea Air freight
  • Handle all exports Air Freight
  • Ensuring all export documents are received and filed
  • Handle Pre- inspection and liaise with Bureau Veritas on exports
  • Ensuring we have the necessary updated certificates for imported items
  • Handle all forwarderâ??s accounts â?? questions and complaints
  • Courier all samples, and assist with RMA repairs
  • Request weight, dimensions, and all relevant documents from international suppliers
  • Handling of shipping documents, ensure correct for clearing purposes
  • Be available in the warehouse if needed
  • Checking that invoices are correct
  • Assist with NRSC regulations
  • Costings for GRV for Manager
  • Handle all insurance queries on hardware
  • Updating all international supplier recons monthly for management
  • Back up for reception / switchboard function when needed
