JOB SUMMARY:
Our client, internationally established Manufacturing organization, based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town has an opportunity available for a Junior Shipping Controller.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
National Certificate or Diploma in transport/logistics/supply chain (beneficial)
Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
Competent on Excel
Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience within logistics/shipping environment (export/import documentation, bill of lading, invoicing, sea/air fright)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to perform under pressure
Strong administration skills
Excellent attention to detail
Strong numerical skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

Planning, shipment, and distribution
Picking and loading according to the schedule.
Responsible for raw material and local transport from suppliers.
Manage all administration and export documentation.
