A well-established roof truss design company is seeking a Junior Design Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in structural steel, structural engineering, or roof truss design who is eager to learn, develop their skills, and build strong relationships with clients.

POSITION INFO:
Job Description: Prepare and develop roof truss designs and technical drawings Interpret architectural and engineering drawings Assist with design calculations and project documentation Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met Support the design process from concept through to production Ensure designs comply with industry standards and specifications Skills & Experience: Experience in roof truss design highly advantageous Alternatively, experience in structural steel or structural engineering design Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail Great rapport with clients and strong communication skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn Passion for design engineering and delivering quality work Qualification: Drafting Certificate, National Diploma, or Diploma in a related field Higher engineering qualifications advantageous Package: R360 000 CTC per annum Excellent long-term growth and development opportunities Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
